California Pacific Medical Center (san francisco)

Hi all. Does anyone know how is the NewGrad training program at California Pacific Medical Center in san francisco (pacific campus) is?? Has anyone here ever worked for CPMC or know of anyone who has and have any opinion about this hospital? Anyone here gone through their training program??

Also, I know that nurses at CPMC are not in a UNION and I don't know if this is something that is good or bad??

Thank you for your comments/help/suggestions and your time.

Question I'm interested to know too...
Anybody have any answers for these questions? What about UCSF Medical Center, or St. Francis Memorial?

i visited CPMC and got a mini hospital tour from the nurse recruiter exactly a year ago during my visit to SF, and Sutter Health seems like a good place to work at...although i dont' have any first hand experiences with the grad programs...

i just graduated in August 2004 in Vancouver, BC Canada and got the exciting news today that i am hired at Alta Bates Sumitt Medical Center (an affiliate of Sutterhealth) in East Bay, SF!!! *woot*woot* now i just have to pass my NCLEX and hopefully get approved for my visa screen in the new year......

When i met the nurse recruiter, she really impressed me with her overall knowledge of Sutter Health and she was really friendly and willing to answer all my questions...i hope everything works out for you as it will hopefully work out for me too!! :hatparty:

I'm also looking into CPMC's new RN grad program and it looks good. CPMC is one of the hospitals on my list.

The above thread is more than two years since the last post. There are some other threads on that facility, you will just need to do a search.
