Calif still processing Jan 21st results

Well, I called the BON yesterday and they told me they were processing Jan 21st results. That's the same date they gave me last Friday. I hate Calif. I don't know what to think now.

wannabeenurse1, I'm right there with you! I took the NCLEX on Jan. 31 and although it feels like it's been forever, it's only been two weeks. This waiting is awful! Hang in there, it'll be over soon

Did you guys make sure they had your transcripts? I've heard of a few people having to wait because the board will let you take NCLEX without your transcripts as long as your name was on a list your school sent. But they wont post results until they have everything.

So it might be worth to check. Ill keep my fingers crossed for you both!

CA does not have a BON, so which exam did you write on that date? RN applicants are handled under the BRN, and the LVNs are handled under the Vocational Board.

California takes about three weeks for you to be notified if you passed the PN exam, so they are just a little over schedule. But there is no set written schedule for them. They do not post your names as you have not paid for the exam until you get the letter that states that you have passed.

Surmise that this is what you are talking of, since there are many RNs that have tested already in the past week that already have their license numbers.

It was the NCLEX PN I took on Feb 1st and when I called the board of Vocational Nursing to see what date they were on in processing the results, and they said they were processing Jan 21st, thats the same date they gave me last Friday. It's longer for LVN's to get results "about 3-4 weeks", than it is for RN's.
