CA state job and exam process?

Has anyone taken the required exam for a state job? For any job for the state one must first take an exam when applying. I have no idea what might be tested for state health nurses. Thanks for any input or guidance if you have taken state exam or know info about it.

I'm not exactly certain. I used to work at a prison with a buncha RN's who were state employees. I got the impression from them the testing wasn't that difficult. You might want to try the correctional forum because a lot of corrections nurses are state employees.
Good luck!
