BSN student challenging LVN boards?

by Snwbdr

I've heard it was possible for BSN students who've finished their first year to challenge the LVN boards....does California allow this? I've tried looking for the information but don't really know where to look....Any help would be appreciated

As far as I know, the CA Board still allows this. You need to call the Board and speak to someone because there is an extra form that goes with the application that your school needs to fill out. The trick is whether or not your school will cooperate. Not all schools sign off on the paperwork for their students to do this. You will have to approach your school to get your paperwork signed. They send in their form and you do the application and take the test like everyone else. Good luck.
