I am so excited, but nervous I won't be able to find a job as I only have 1 year experience; in med-surg/tele. Any advice on where to apply in the Inland Empire would be greatly appreciated!
Did you apply for a temporary license? Two weeks after I sent out my application, they printed my temp license. However, the CA-BRN stated that the FBI rejected my fingerprints due to the poor quality work done by the NY Police Department; so I have to do it again.
Where did you get your fingerprint done? You mind if I ask....
Looking for work is the 1st step unless someone in Calif is willing to support you until you find work. I filled out a few online applications. Just in case I might not be able to land a job in the acute care setting, I have also called all the rehab/long term care facilities located in the Los Angeles; and I have sent out/emailed my resumes a few days ago. Hopefully, I will get something before I make a move.
By the way, at least you have one year in Med/Surg, and this is way better than many new grads. You will have a better chance...believe me.
Good luck.
