An alternate at Long Beach City College

Hi Everyone, I applied to a couple of rn programs and just received a letter from Long Beach City College saying that i am #2 on the alternate list. i know i should be happy to be on the alternate list, but how promising is it? If anyone's gone through my situation, let me know what to expect. Thanks for all your help!

Can they tell you how many alternates they tend to take from the list historically? Number 2 seems like a great spot! Good luck!

I was just thinking about what it would be like to be one of the top alternates at a school =) Sometimes they take from alternates randomly, but I hope in your case they dont.

But yeah, if some people dont show up to the first class, they drop them and take alternates, so be happy =)

LBCC is a good program...

There's always a few that don't start with the class for various reasons.
