2bgr8nurse: Yes, I did end up going to the meeting, which is why I decided to do my clinicals in Martinez. I really liked the program and it's closer to the bay area, which works better for me. I hope you get good news soon!

Matt: congrats! I'm glad all your hard work and positive energy in this thread has paid off. I'm excited to be your renee and elle's classmate in january!

Hi everyone, my name is Sherona and I'm currently taking the prerequisites for nursing. I was wondering if any of you would be willing to share your GPA and tips you found helpful when applying to this program?

And if anyone is following this thread currently in the ABSN program. What do you think of the program?

Hi MelodySF!

I was accepted into the sacramento spring cohort as well and will be doing my clinicals in martinez too! Did you go to the meeting? Did a lot of students go? I know when i received the email there were 23 or so students emailed, but i wasn't able to make it due to work and school so i just called the director.

Hi Nancy! Yes I did go to the meeting. I think there were about 10-12 people there. Definitely not in the 20s. Yay I'm glad to find someone else doing their clinicals in Martinez too. We'll definitely be spending a lot of time together Congrats!

congratulations to you as well! i cant wait to meet/see everyone at orientation! until then...it's time to look for loans! haha. I'm just wondering how of the people that went to that meeting how the martinez group was even chosen.
