I hate the waiting game also. I really think that SM is trying to get through all the applicants, I'm curious as to how many applied. I was interviewed for the ELMSN-CM and just got the call today that I have been accepted for Spr.2010.
Hang in there, they are just now getting the acceptances out.
Thank you Marathonrunner1 for starting a CM thread, anyone hear back yet, I'd like to hear more about you! We will be in it together for the next 26 months.

Congratulations Smurf7 on your admittance to the CM program at SM! You must be so happy. Now, you can relax a bit and begin focusing on your busy year ahead.

I am still waiting to hear about the status of my application to the ABSN program. I do hope all of us ABSN applicants will hear something soon. It is really hard to wait so long for news. Ah well. At least we can find support from one another on this website. Good luck to everyone out there waiting anxiously for good news.

Smurf 7, CONGRATS!! That is so awesome for you. I applied to ELMSN - CM and ABSN... Do you feel so much better? IF you dont mind, what were your grades and test scores like? WHen did you hear and go to your interview??? Sorry I am just "patiently" waiting and am nervous!! haha . THanks again

I do feel better, I know the waiting can be the hardest. I went for my interview last Friday. I know they had interviews set up all day Friday and Monday (yesterday). The SM counselor told me that they interviewed 40 candidates for 20 positions. I had a 4.0 on my sciences and other subjects except I had a B on my Engl. 1A and a C grade on Stats. My teas were not as strong I took it twice and my better score was an 87%. They really read the essay you wrote, I think mine helped me because the person who interviewed me said that "I captured the essence of the program" (I'm not sure what that means, I just wrote what I felt).
I hope you hear soon. I don't think they have notified the ABSN candidates yet. Keep your fingers crossed. At least you don't have to do the interview for the ABSN. Best of luck.

So I got an e-mail today from SMU regarding a scholarship. The message goes on to say that those who are eligible must be conditionally accepted. Anyone else get the same message? Am I one of the conditionally accepted? I'm probably over reacting. I should be contacting them instead.

Your not over reacting just over analyzing. Yes I got that same e-mail. I think we are all conditionally accepted until we pay our tuition right?! Anyways I went on the website even though I don't technically qualify since I am ELMSN. Check it out, but your okay.

Sounds like they sent it out to all applicants. Mascli- I got my hopes up as well when I got the email. This waiting game is so hard. Hopefully we'll have some good news soon.
