Re: Drug test for admission to LVN schools in California?
I went to LVN school outside CA (in Indiana) and we never got tested by the school or facility, but it is true that they have you sign a waiver that you will pay for a test if you are asked to submit for a test. I heard though that it is like $120 or something to get tested because it is whatever the facility charges to administer a tox screen. They don't ever ask though unless you act like you are under the influence. Best rule of thumb is to leave the grass in the past and never touch it again while you are a nurse/nursing student. It's not worth it in the long term.
As for the time being, you can eat a low fat diet, exercise a lot, drink plenty of water, maintain adequate vitamin intake and don't take any chemicals ect if possible (i.e. anything that reacts to the body other than food except maybe caffeine if you're a coffee drinker) to give your liver a rest and to detox your system.
