I went to West Coast University (WCU) in Anaheim. It is expensive, however it is up to you on how long your willing to wait in a community college. I took all my pre-req's at a community college, since I was an LVN i thought it would be easier for me to get in. However, there are lots of LVNs trying to transition as an RN too. So the waiting list is also long. After finishing all my pre-reqs I went to my counselor spring 2008, she told me that I have to wait until Fall 09 just to get in the waiting list!!!

And then probably another 3-5 years on the waiting list. So I enrolled at WCU spring 08 and graduated last month. Now i am a jobless RN...hahahaha...If you have some college pre-reqs, they will subtract that from your tuition. It might be expensive, however, 3-5 years on the waiting list is too long for me. Plus if I get a job, that will be 3-5 years experience under my belt, rather than waiting for that long. If you are really interested call them, the longer you wait, the higher the tuition goes!!!
