Thank you Burn ICU Nurses

This is a discussion on Thank you Burn ICU Nurses in Burn Nursing, part of Nursing Specialties ... i just want to say thank you to all of you who work in the bicu! i truly do not know how you do it....

i just want to say thank you to all of you who work in the bicu! i truly do not know how you do it. i was burned with a laser durning a hair removal session and suffered 2nd degree burns on my face. the burn unit @ our large county hospital has been wounderful to me. they were so kind and understanding. they even had a make up specialst see me. the unit is large and treat pt from infant to adults. it is so clean and there is no weird smell. i work in nicu and i know how tought icu's can be. how you can handle little kids burned is a wounder. all the nurses and np were soooo kind to me. god bless all burn icu nurses and a special blessing to those who work @ my county med center
