Start new job soon in burns

I'm just finishing my new grad year, anyway, I managed to get a job in one of the better burn's units in my country.

I've seen a few burns in my student years and as outlies on the wards I worked in, is there anything I need to know, like any advice experienced burns nurses would give?

I've been warned of the smell, but such things don't bother me.
