Interested in Burn Nursing...where to start?

Hello everyone!
I'm new to the site and getting ready to enter my senior year of nursing school. I'm not a traditional student, meaning this is my second career in life. I've always wanted to be a nurse and finally took the plunge, well then I started wondering what I was doing because I wasn't sure where I was going to take it. I have been exploring and I really think that burn nursing is what has caught my eye. I was wondering if anyone out there can give me some tips or information, anything I need to know. I really want to continue on for my masters and wasn't sure if there were programs that were directly related to burn nursing for that or not. I live in the Kansas City area and I am planning on some shadow time at KU. Any and all tips and info will be greatly appreciated!
