I'm a curious nursing student

Hi everyone,

I'm a curious nursing student and just got finished reading a post from "Ihave206bones" regarding the look that people give him when they find out he is a burn unit nurse. Its no surprise that this is considered a difficult career. I am curious for those of you who are burn nurses, what personal strengths, skills, and education do you bring with you into this special field? If you were to interview a perspective employee for a position in your unit, what would you ask him or her about themselves that you feel would make them a good burn unit nurse?
