    Hello all,

    My instructor has given us(students) an assignment to write a page essay on the stages of burn healing. I swore that my instructor said there were five stages.

    All I can find in my textbook is three: emergent, intermediate, and rehabilitation phases.

    Am I missing something? Is one of the above three stages split into substages?

    u might want to try posting on the wound care specialty. I really don't have a clue on this one...unless the instructor is also talking about emotional aspects and body image changes, grieving...? Good luck, chances if u r confused so is the rest of the class.
