by cavebadger Dec 28, '12Hi everyone,
I recently (a few days ago) received a partial thickness burn on my chest as a result of spilt turkey fat and I was hoping someone might be able to answer a question I have as after a lot of googling I haven't found a conclusive answer.
I've been treated at the hospital for it and had my first dressing change today. I'm a bit concerned about how tight the dressing should be. Before my new dressing it wasn't painful at all, but it has been very uncomfortable since. The new dressing isn't mega tight but tight enough that it has flattened my boobs somewhat and the dressing I had originally was very loose in comparison. I'm not really worried about the pain I'm just feeling a bit anxious as I want to make sure its healing as well as it can.
If anyone could give any advice on this I would be really grateful!
Thanks very much x
