Second 24 hours of resuscitation

Can someone elaborate on the 2nd 24 hours (free water replacement and albumin) of resuscitation of the burn pt, what to expect and the rationale for this?

with regards to albumin, albumin is the major protein in the intravascular space. I helps to keep to keep the oncotic pressure to its normal. So, basically it helps to promote fluid shifting from the fluiid leaked by the burn inury in the interstitial space going to the intravascular space. Also, albumin being a protein, helps promote tissue/wound healing for collagen formation. If the patient is for grafting, it is also very important to keep the albumin within the normal limits because albumin helps excrete the anesthetics usually used during surgery (to help prevent adverse effects of the anesthetic agent) and is also important to keep the graft healthy
