PICCS

Does anyone know if LPNs are able to initiate or maintain meds or fluids through a PICC line? I already contacted the state board and they told me that laws are being revised and right now it doesn't specify.

Default Re: PICCS
Pretty ridiculous that your own state board can't tell you. That being said, it's up to the facility for whom you work, and should be outlined in their policies and procedures. Check there next.
