Looking for 3 month contract in Australia

I am a Canadian RN who is looking to go to Australia for a short contract, ideally 3 months. I am also over 30 so I can't do a working holiday. Are there hospitals that will hire for a 3 month contract? Or is it better to go through a recruiter? I would appreciate any advice
