Your favourite place to look for nursing jobs


Hi everyone,

I'm a second-year nursing student studying at UTS. I'm looking to get a job part time as an AIN, but am struggling to find advertised positions at the moment. I was wondering what your favourite places to look for nursing jobs were. I'm in NSW

Personally I would put together a good resume and approach the major nursing homes in your area directly. They might want to start you out as a casual but, if you can land a position it will have the advantage of being where YOU want it to be and not a 2 hour drive away.

I agree with Qwenith. Just a matter of time until you get alot of shifts from starting casual.

Ditto. Most places don't even advertise RN or EN positions. You just have to apply. But of course, check the internet sites as well...
