Big Day Out and Water
Well it was good to see that some sense is finally coming into the world – It is quite disgraceful that large events these days are holding people to ransom for water.
The Big Day out is a large travelling type music type festival for the younger set – (not me) both my kids have been in the past- It is a full day and night held at a large venue and lots of different bands of varying types of styles play and sing all day – It is generally held in each of the large cities i.e. Melbourne, Sydney Brisbane etc –
They said on the news tonight that there was 40,000 kids there today listening to 50 bands/ groups – fortunately the weather wasn’t too hot- The supervision was apparently good and the moshe pit controlled. (FYI- 2 years ago sadly a young girl died at the big day out)
Also it seems that the kids are allowed to take water into the ground and not be forced to buy it there. The costs are hard enough for kids to afford – not sure the price of the ticket but l think about $100.00 Australian.
Anyone out there go to the big day out at all.
Don’t you think that water should be able to be bought into the ground – At the Cricket if your water bottle had been open you weren’t allowed to take it in – Had to be thrown out and then you were forced to buy more at the ground prices – high
