by round12tko Jul 9, '12I'm a nursing student. Is it preferable to do clinical placement at a top hospital that would take me about a hour to get there or do clinical placement close to where I live, like 10 mins away, but at a lesser known hospital? Does doing clinical placement at a top hospital give you an edge over other students when applying for graduate nursing jobs?
