by smartin224 Sep 18, '09I had heard that if you agreed to work at St. Vincent's for a certain amount of time after you finished the CNA program, that they would waive your tuition. Is this true? (My source was going to do this, but ended up going another direction). I'm eventually wanting to get my BSN, but financially we can't afford nursing school right now, so I was wanting to try to find a way to get a job in the field so I could work and go to school. Has anyone else heard this? And if so, is it true?
*Also, when does the next CNA class @ St. Vincent's start up? I've tried contacting the program director, but I only reach voicemail and she hasn't replied to any of my e-mails.
Thanks!

- Oct 22, '09 by milfordmomAre you talking about the MSA program (CNA, EKG and Phleb) at St. V's? If so, they do not offer to waive tuition in exchange for working at the medical center. I did their MSA program in Sept 08- April 09. We did not get a job fair either. Hope this helps
