What is it like for LPNs in Arkansas? Are most LPN jobs in LTC? Are hospitals in Arkansas phasing out LPNs and using RNs only?
I'll be a new grad LPN next summer, and I'm debating if I want to go straight to work, or continue immediately into the RN bridge program. I think getting some hands on experience would be beneficial before continuing on to the RN classes, but I don't know if it would be difficult for a new LPN to find employment.

I was thinking of going LPN school first but when I look at all the jobs listed online and at local hospitals - everyone is wanting an RN. I going directly for RN but you will have lots of experience if your continue to go to school as an RN and maybe work part-time as a LPN while doing so.
