Hi there,

Were you able to find a CNA program in the Little Rock area? I recently resigned from my dead end job with the state of AR in order to pursue a career in nursing. Currently, I live in Memphis but am having a hard time finding CNA programs here for some reason. My family lives in Little Rock and I would love to get back there by any means. If you were able to find a CNA program in Little Rock could you please share it with me?

thanks in advance

The only ones I've found are Baptist (only for employees); St. Vincent (called 3 times and always got an answering machine); Arkansas Academy of Nursing Assistants (3 wrong numbers found online and no website) and Heartbeat2Heartbeat.

I'm going with Heartbeat to Heartbeat. They have a website at heartbeat2heartbeat.com and they actually picked up the phone!! Who knew it was so hard to find a CNA class?! So far as I know the heartbeat 2 heartbeat class starts every 2 weeks and costs somewhere from 600-750 dollars including fees textbook and registration.

Hope this helps anyone else that went through the hell of trying to find an education!!

White County Hospital in Searcy (about 45 minutes from Little Rock) teaches a CNA class that lasts 3 weeks. The next one starts June 3 and I think they are offering it one more time this summer. You can get a phone number off their web site. The cost is $300 plus testing fees. I'm planning to be in the class that starts Monday, so If you have any questions let me know.

Hi. I was wondering about the Heart2Heart in Jacksonville. I am thinking about going there and want to make sure that I am putting my money and time to a good and respected education. Thanks.
