For Maricopa County Community College, I spent about $850-900 on books. The come in a bundle. You buy the bundle for the first block, but it has all the books you need for all 4 blocks. We also had to purchase a computer program for Block 2 that was about $68.
In addition to the books, you also need your uniform, shoes, a stethescope and your nursing bag.
I spent about $115 on my uniform which included 2 tops and 2 bottoms, plus a labcoat.
For shoes, you can just use regular white sneakers if they are in decent shape and are comfortable enough to stand in all day when you are in clinical.
The nursing bag was $130, and that contains all the supplies you need to learn the hands on clinical skills, like injections, wound care, catheterization, inserting iv's, etc.
Stethescopes aren't too bad, I think I spent $75 on mine.
