Register Today!- Apr 30, '11 by mom2a1c2I don't have my schedule yet. They told me it would be a few days after they received my form, which I faxed last week. So, any day now. I'm dying to get it, too, because i need to figure out my childcare....another expense.
I still have to get my financial aid worked out. I received a notice that I don't qualify for anything because I have a bachelor's degree, unless I fill out 3 forms to appeal.

I estimated the cost of the books only. It doesn't even include the shots, scrubs, steth, and all the other little things we might need along the way. And the tuition will be increased this fall!yikes.Did you get your schedule and location for the clinicals? I am little impatient these days waiting for any info about my program. - Apr 30, '11 by mommyoftwinksQuote from mom2a1c2I don't qualify for aid either because I have my Bachelor's degree as well. What kind of forms can you fill out to appeal? I've never heard of that so I'm just curious =)I don't have my schedule yet. satisfactory academic progress (sap) appeal
restricted course list/rcl maximum time frame appeal - May 6, '11 by miteacherThat is interesting that they will allow you to appeal it. I am going to the Gateway LPN program in the fall, but I already also have a bachelors in another area. I wonder if I would qualify for financial aid. I don't want to take out any loans, but would be interested in grants. Did they say you may qualify for grants or loans?
- May 6, '11 by mom2a1c2I was told today that I won't qualify for grants, but loans only. I was also told to search search search for scholarships. My advisor told me that she is on the committee for one that awards $1500!

PPE, trach kits, foley catheter kits, IV stuff, phlebotomy, etc.
- May 10, '11 by mom2a1c2Thank you fromthesea...I appreciate the info.
Also, can you tell me approximately how many hours per week you study, not including class and clinicals. I'm trying to work out my work and childcare and that info would be very helpful.
Thanks again!
