What's the scoop on Arizona Regional Medical Center?

U.S.A. Arizona

Just got an interview as a new ASU grad, but I've heard a nasty little rumor that they have trouble paying their employees. Anyone know anything good or bad?

That's good news!

It'll probably re-open after a large hospital chain buys it for pennies on the dollar. It won't be Arizona Regional Medical Center. It's tough times for hospitals but management probably also made plenty of bonehead business decisions.

Didn't they JUST hire and start training 20+ new grad nurses? I thought they hired to staff both facilities. What happens to all of those nurses with one of the two hospitals shutting its doors? Hopefully this all turns out well for everyone involved!

Yes they did and we got transferred to Apache junction.

Probably a lot of turnover with those recent employees not being paid.

Have been thinking about all that started with ARMC in April. Hope that everything is working out nicely for you all!

Banner Health is buying the AJ location, and it will be run by the Banner Ironwood management. Congrats in the bump in employment!!!
