want to move

  1. I am in Texas currently and want to move back to AZ. I lived in Glendale about 4 years ago and as soon as I get out of school and pass my NCLEX I would really like to move back. I have a couple of questoins that I could not find the answers to in a search of this site or the Arizona BON. 1) Someone said you can take the NCLEX for AZ and not worry about getting an endorsment license, how do you do that??? 2) how many CEU do you have to get and how often for AZ?? Also how long is your license good for in AZ? I think thats all I wanted to know right now. I still have a year and a half before I am out of school but I wanted to start looking into what I want to do when I get out just to have an idea! Thanks!

I would call or email the AZ state board of nursing.
    Phone # (602) 889 -5150
    Consultant direct line... (602) 889 - 5209
    Licensing tech.... (602) 889 - 5190
    Website www.azboardofnursing.org

This way you will get all of your info from the horses mouth, so to speak. Hope this helps.

I looked there and just looked again, the only answer I found was that your license is good for 4 years. I still am looking for info on how many CE's you must have and how to get your license directly from AZ while living in another state without endoresment.
    Thanks though!

I would have thought as a student you could just apply to AZ bon and sit nclex. I know you don't have to live in the state to sit the nclex. I took nclex with NY and then endorsed to AZ and sat the exam in phoenix
