Volunteering

I'm a new grad RN with (of course) no job and too much time on my hands. I'm looking to start volunteering again but most hospitals in the area have some sort of commitment and I'm not sure if I can do that. Anyone know of a place/hospital that will take a new grad RNs as volunteers or are flexible with commitments? Anyone have any experience with this?
    thanks!

I don't know about new grad volunteer opportunities but I believe most hospitals in the valley accept any volunteers. As far as being a new grad with no job I was there 3 years ago. I ended up taking a medical supervisor position for a plasma company just for money because those student loans do eventually kick in. There are also different, non-hospital jobs, that you can get. Look into substance abuse centers in the valley: Community Bridges, The New Foundation, ect. Also try Hospice nursing places. So many new grads want to land that perfect hospital position right after graduation which is not always possible in the valley so you might have to be creative. There's also a place called MGA (I believe). It's homecare but it's a start.
