Still waiting for finger prints

I took and passed my CNA exam way back in October. Submitted my app to AZBON only to have my fingerprints rejected. Two more fingerprint cards later they determined none of them were readable (looked fine to me) so they did a more extensive background check. I called the board last week and they stated I should have my approval and number "any day now" it's another week later. Has anyone run accross this? When I apply for my RN license will I have to go through this ordeal again?
