Mayo Clinic New Grad Program AZ

U.S.A. Arizona

Published

Hi all. I applied for the Mayo Clinic New Grad program and was interviewed in late March. They said they would have a hiring decision end of April. Here it is end of April and I'm dying to hear something! Has anyone else applied and have you heard anything? Thanks!

Ashley

Has anyone received a rejection call/email/letter yet?

Anyone who got the call for ICU, I am excited to meet you! Do you have orientation on June 5th? How old is everyone? I feel like I am the youngest :(

I'm not going to be in the ICU but my orientation is June 5 as well. I'm 22...

Where are you all coming from? I'm relocating to AZ.

NursingStudent17, I am 22 also and I'm relocating to phoenix as well!!

27 here. Relocating to Phx too.

They don't like to hire RNs with just an associate's degree. They prefer ASU graduates, due to the partnership. I like how they said they would call either way, but don't. No call, no email, and no response to anything I've sent. Even as a loyal employee in good-standing, I can't get in with my own company.

The only thing I can think of is that they're waiting to hear back from some people, and they're not sending out rejections until they are fully staffed and contracts signed. But it is frustrating!

PlebtoRN I feel your pain. I have been working for a hospital for 5 years as a CNA and Sterile Processing Tech. I made a mistake staying in the surgery dept because they won't hire me there and HR has a policy that new grads can only be hired into the dept they have worked in for at least 3 years since we don't have a new grad program.

Got my rejection email today.
