Maricopa CEP Status

U.S.A. Arizona

Published

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has received their status for Maricopa CEP. I know March 20th was the day where we were suppose to know our status within the program, I still haven't received anything from them. Didn't know if anyone else is in the same boat.

Thanks!

Specializes in Trauma ICU.

I haven't heard anything either.

To my knowledge, if you don't hear anything, you did not make the cut. You can always contact them and ask if the fall placements are completely finished. I had a friend get an offer and she had to let them know if she accepted by the 19th...in theory, if she said no it would go on to the next person, which I would assume could take a bit?

Same boat. I actually went to see my advisor yesterday and I was told they are still in the process of placement. She said it is going on longer because one of the community colleges had a system shut down so they had to re enter everything again and so she then said give it till the end of this month. / : also you are eligible for traditional placement if you didn't make cep... that begins march 27th and will go on through the end of April. There is still a chance!! Hope you hear something ( :

I was told that we should hear something by the 7th so on the 8th when I hadn't heard anything, I went to my the nursing advisor at my first choice and she told me that if I hadn't heard anything then I didn't make it in and would be receiving a declination letter. but that evening I checked my Maricopa email and I got an email saying that I had been accepted to my second choice. So I think the dates they give us are more of a guide line than set in stone. Just keep checking your email because when they send you an acceptance letter, you only get 48 hours or so to respond.

Some have recieved their declination letters via their emails yesterday. I still have not recieved any letter and or notification from any school. At this point, I'd say it's safe to say I didn't make the cut, but plan to go in and speak with an advisor next week to see what I can do that may increase my chances on the next go round. Congrats to all who made the cut and good luck for those trying again!

Yes I actually received my declination yesterday. But I was figuring if we didn't hear anything we didn't get in.

Hey Guys! Has anyone still not heard back? I still have yet to receive communication of any kind from Phoenix college. Also does anyone know when the next CEP application session opens?

I would give them a call or stop by to see an advisor on your status. I think most people have heard back at this point / : Also, you can re-apply for Spring start CEP starting now until May 31st. I then believe the placement will begin towards the end of June through the early weeks of July.

I too have had no further communication from Phoenix College. I'm assuming at this point I did not make the cut and plan to go and speak with an advisor sometime this week. Thankful to see I'm not the only one, but frustrated with the lack of communication. Here's to hoping I make the cut next time!

The next application deadline is May 31st, so for those of you who were declined (I'm sorry!) - could you just re-apply for the next intake? I believe the May 31st deadline will have students starting their online University classes in the Fall, and attending the community college starting in January 2018 for the Spring semester.

Hello,

If you haven't heard back from Phoenix college I would suggest that you get in contact with them. I received an email yesterday after I sent multiple emails and left various voicemails. Turns out they had no evidence of receiving my CEP application. Upon further investigation it turns out that the counselor I met with to turn my apps in, stapled my CEP to the back of my ADN application. They needed to be turned in separate so the application never made it to submission. Huge bummer! I wanted to mention this on the post for those that are getting ready to turn in their apps. Make sure you are meeting with someone who knows what they are doing so you won't run into this problem. Not much I can do at this point except apply for the next round.
