When no one will teach you things and nit-pick behind your back for things they do themselves, tell you you're doing well if not better than they at the same point in learning ICu, then have to worry about losing your job because you don't know how to run your first crashing patient yourself and can't identify a rhythm people who have been there several years can't, you get pushed (literally) by a preceptor cause she wanted to be at the head of the bed in trasport, have no say so in your assignments or precptors...yes. This goes against magnet criteria. I had to spend a lot of my own money to move for that job, much more than their moving allowance but was happy to do so when I thought I would get proper training.

    welcome!
check this agency out. They have benefits and goodies plus you are treated like a family. HEALTHPOINT MEDICAL STAFFING,2226 W. Northern Ave, Suite C205 Phoenix AZ 85021. (602) 242-1330. or email Jerry Rutter @jerryrutter@healthpoint.com. If you have trouble finding it or having car problems, let me know, we'll pick you up or even have lunch. They give gas money, and other stuff ( a bone here and there per se), plus if you are good you can negotiate. Now is the time to empower ourselves with what we are worth of. Now is the time to get the support we've been missing. If you are hired and I get to meet you in one of the ICUs, I'll let you a hand or two
I didn't hear back from your friend

I personally really love how welcome I am at Scottsdale. They're a nice non-profit hospital. Are you a new grad? What area are you interested in?
I'm willing to split referral bonuses.

No I am not a new Grad, what hospital are we talking about and how much is a ref bonus? If I sign on how long would I have to sign on for

    Scottsdale Healthcare www.sch.org
The bonus, when spilt comes to about 600 after taxes. The bonus is paid out I believe after the referred person works 90 days.
I think their pay for a new grad is 24 and some change. I don't know if they ask new grads to stay a year. I was not and only have 1 year of experience.

    Hi

I am with the nurse recruiter at Shea Hospital Scottsdale, she seemed lovely I also looked at Boswell hospital near Sun city. Both are about same distance away from 101 loop.
I am also wondering about JC Lincoln Deer valley

St. Joseph's HANDS DOWN. Non-profit and the bennies are good. Only problem is if you come from the West or East Coast, the pay is much less than the W/E coast. It is also a Right-to-Work State. Good thing is that they do hire qualified LPN's if you are a LPN. If you are a RN they have a state of the art Trauma Team and also world leaders in Neurology. The best TBI and Spinal Cord Acute Rehabilitation Nursing.:spin:
