Hey all! I'm starting the summer fast-track program tomorrow at the Camelback campus and have kind of a stupid question regarding our uniforms: which classes are we required to wear them to? I know that scrubs are required for lab, but how about the others? Just trying to avoid being the only kid decked our in my uniform on the first day of school. Thanks very much in advance for the information!

I am over at the AT Still campus and we were told to wear our scrubs every day since all students on the campus are required to wear their program-specific scrubs... not sure about your campus. I would wear them though - better safe than sorry.

Does anyone know if we need our stethoscope/BP cuff during the first couple of days? Also, does anyone know what exactly is in the level 1 bags we should be getting? Trying to be prepared but I don't want to buy anything that will be in that bag.

Hi to all the new block 1 Summer 2014 nursing students. I am currently awaiting the status of my application for Fall 2014 Banner Boswell program. I was just curious about a couple of things. I know you must be crazy busy, but if a few of you get a moment, maybe you can help. I was curious what your schedule is currently. I was also just curious how it is going so far? What is your initial impression? Anything that you think would be helpful to know, I and I am sure the rest of us awaiting would love to hear.

I also applied to the Banner Boswell location also. I know a few students that have started the program already one of them goes to boswell and the other is at the main campus , and I've heard they like the program, one of them is on her clinicals and she said that she loves clinicals and of course like with any school lot , lots , lots of work, reading ,studying ect.. The adivice they gave me "before you start take a nice mini vacay" .

Hello everyone ! I was just wondering for those of you that got accepted, when you received your email in regards to acceptance from GCU , what is the subject message? or do you need to open a link then you find out ? ,, I'm just curious and anxious because I'm waiting for the mid june acceptance notifications to go out for the fall start.

Mine said "GCU Nursing Acceptance" in the subject line. Than the letter is an attachment and you open that.

hi! since you guys have already started your block 1, what are some things i need to get in order to come prepared on the first day of class? i am going into the fall 2014 fast track program. do i need to buy my own stethoscope & what kind of white shoes are allowed? are they super strict on them? also, everyone is talking about this bag they will get. What is this bag everyone is talking about & what comes inside of it?

Don't buy a cuff, they give u one along with a bag to carry it all in!
