They contacted me. None of the schools I contacted would even talk to me personally. I called and sent emails. It was weird!

This was the exact email I just received yesterday from the Phoenix College advisor:

Once you're on the wait list it's up to you to contact each dept chair as far as available seats.... bout page 3 or so on the Advanced Appl Form...... has phone numbers/contact names of all the RN Dept. Chair.

So are we supposed to keep contacting each person after we apply? That is what he made it sound like.

I was told the same thing by the Gateway advisor... so I sent an email to each program director listed on that form, but I did not receive any type of email response. I will try and call them and send 1 more email closer to May, because by then they will know if they have spots related to failures by the block 2 people or transfers or whatever.

Did they say how long the wait will be for your classmates to get into block 3!?

Appears they need to open up another Advanced Placement Block 3 like they did a few years ago.

I wish they would open up. I did hear that they did that a few years ago because there were so many students waiting.

Yup in Spring of 2010... totally wish I had finished my Chem and Bio by then, but I had not. Oh well since I have a good job currently and am working on the BSN coreqs already, I'll just wait and hope I hear something before too long.

Does anyone have any tips for HESI? We were not given a study guide for Hesi or the final. We take our Hesi test next week...

Does anyone have any tips for advanced placement? Did you start contacting the programs yourself? If so, how long did it take to get placed?
