Brookline College Phoenix/Tempe

U.S.A. Arizona

Published

Hello all,

Has anyone recently attended or graduated from Brookline in Phoenix or Tempe? I see posts from a couple of years back, but nothing recent. I KNOW it is quite expensive, but at this point I want to get started. I know someone who graduated from Brookline a couple of years back and now works for Banner, but when I ask her questions on fb messenger, she never responds LOL. Any information would be great.

Please don't go to Brookline College or any of those "pay to play" schools to get your nursing degree.

If you are in a rush, go and apply at any of the local community colleges and inquire about CEP programs. You're not only going to save yourself time and money, but you'll get a solid education and two degrees at once for almost half of what you would pay at a school like Brookline.

I hate to see people who are anxious to get started, and then get sucked in on the idea of "start now!" and needlessly waste their money on schools that have consistently had problems maintaining a solid curriculum.

I would not enroll in a college that is currently on probation with the AZ Board of Nursing.

Specializes in nursing.

Brookline Albuquerque is such a headache. The scheduler does not know what she is doing. She will take 4 months to come up with a schedule and then change it. They will force time in a classroom telling personal "when I was working as a ______ nurse....." for hours without instruction. They will talk badly about other nursing programs to make themselves look/feel better. I had an instructor that stated so many times "If you don't do this, you will be a bad nurse...". They force so many filler classes and never know what they are charging you for. They will continuously change the amount you owe without an explanation.

The tuition is so high and the supplies, including their bathroom supplies, were so cheap and unusable. It was a 50/50 on whether or not you'll get an instructor that will want you to succeed or be proud "No one has ever gotten higher than a B in my class" intro speech.

Huge waste of time and money
