Brookline College Accelerated Nursing Program

U.S.A. Arizona

Published

Hey! Is there anyone attending Brookline College (in Phoenix, AZ) new accelerated bachelor's degree program. I plan to start it May 9th and would like to know anyone's opinion on the school?

gogojulu... Carrington College does not require A&P or Bio, neither does the consortium of programs through MCC. What was your composite score out of curiosity? Perhaps I can put in a good word for you at Carrington? :)

Inspiration... I think I'll keep Brookline in my back pocket in case things fall through where I'm looking but right now I have the highest Hesi A2 score in the applicant pool, so I'm pretty sure I have a spot for 7/18.

I was also looking in to Brookline College. I do not know much about the school. I called an Advisor and she emailed me some information. There is a class that is starting in September as well.

I think you need to do it fast because they already get a lot of application... Welcome aboard Inspiration. I am a student in the second semester, so any questions? glad to help.

Stay away from this school! You have to get a 94% or above to get an A, 85% for a B, and 77% for a C. If you plan on going to grad school, don't go here!!

Cookiefairy are you currently in the absn program at Brookline? If so how is the class doing as a whole? Is the retention rate good or are a lot of people dropping out or getting kicked out? Thanks for any help.

Or...you can get decent grades. My school is the same way with the grades. I'm hanging in with a solid 3.5. In fact, most schools I looked at attending (a majority out of state) hold the same requirements for their grades.

No, but my friend goes here. They just started a month ago so I can't really comment on the retention rate yet. Everybody's grades are pretty horrible across the board though

Can somebody back this up? I find this hard to believe that "most" BSN schools consider a 93% to be a B. I know several with a normal grading scale though.

Hi guys, I am planning to start the ABSN program in September, but I am wondering how their NLNAC accreditation is going?? The MSN programs I plan to apply to after the BSN requires that the nursing programs be accredited by NLNAC or CCNE.

Help!!

Thanks,

Katelyn

Cookie,

Unfortunately, that grading scale is pretty common for most nursing schools. https://allnurses.com/general-nursing-student/grading-scale-nusing-300847.html

I guess it is their way of weeding out students so the NCLEX pass rates are higher.

Hey everyone,

I am starting this in September and am getting very nervous. I just wanted to know how the program is going for you guys so far. Is getting below a 78 the only way not to pass? Thanks for any insight.
