Just a reminder!!

Is the nursing program there a four year bachelors degree program? i cant find any information on it. I am from Morenci which is about 30 minutes from thatcher. I took college courses at EAC during high school, i am a freshman attending mcc in mesa. I like the small town vibe and i miss my family so I am planning on moving back down and attending eac for nursing. but I am not sure if it is the right decision. and i cant seem to find any information about it on the eac website. any information would be much appreciated! Thanks!

No, it is not a BSN. The BSN is becoming very easy to achieve with distance programs.

Any nursing school is tough, but you cant beat the EAC tuition, or being close to home. just my opinion...

Congrats on being almost done!

I looked at the EAC website. It says that an entry requirement is to be a certified Nursing Assistant.

Can you share your experiences? Do you know if they make exceptions?

THANKS!

They do require a CNA, but you can do the course work online. You should call them. Being a very small school, they are very personable. I actually did my CNA the month before I started there online. I was an ER tech before nursing school, and they helped me out alot.

Give them a call!

I drove out there today and checked out the school. I met with the Nursing secretary (can't remember name right now). Too bad I didn't get your message earlier, I would have asked about an online CNA option. Can you refer me to where you did it?

Overall I was impressed with the school. I liked the facilities a lot.

EAC has a couple more pre-reqs than the school I am slated to go to in the fall, but I think the quality of learning might be better. And, I do not like where I live at all right now, so a move appeals too.

THANKS for the suggestion. I'm definintely exploring that as an option!

Are the nursing classes available online? I live in the Phoenix area, and was wondering because I could do the clinicals here and the other courses online.

I specifically asked. EAC is all in person; no online.
