I'm an LPN, and worked in an urgent care for a short time a few years ago. My interview at that urgent care was conducted by an LPN nurse supervisor, & an office manager. The interview was pleasant. They both just asked me questions about why I wanted to work there, why I liked nursing, could I be a team player, etc. I'm sure every interview varies from place to place though. I had to take a urine drug test that day as well after they hired me. I think they ran a background check on me too. Which I passed both of course! I was so excited about the job, but quit after 2 weeks. The job was an hour and a half drive away. We seen over 100 pts. a night to 3 nurses!!! It was like a little mini ER. It was exhausting, sighs... It wasn't for me!! Plus there was this one bully nurse there that kept giving me a hard time over nothing, making my job difficult. lol Not trying to scare you... Urgent care can be a great place to work. This place just had poor management. Good luck! Let us know how it goes...
