Rural clinic changing to managed care, what does it mean?

The very rural clinic where I work is changing to "managed care". Management tells us that it will change the way we do several things, especially the way we do triage. I am curious what areas are going to change and how. Any experience in this area would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
