  1. 0 Hi,

I was wondering if anyone went back to floor nursing after doing ambulatory nursing? Did anyone have a hard time finding a job? Do employers look at ambulatory nursing as less valuable? I actually work ambulatory nursing now and like it a lot better then inpatient. I just don't want to limit myself.

    Thank you.

I worked with a few nurses in outpatient/ambulatory surgery and they are now ER and pediatric nurses.

Once I left bedside acute care nursing I never looked back. That was more than 3 decades ago. You are only limited by yourself and your fears.
