Insurance Reimbursement for Nsng Services

by irishrn

I'm an RN working in a 2 Physician Family Practice Office. My Doc went to a coding/reimbursement meeting last week and he said that many of the services I perform-wound care, injections, BP checks etc are reimburseable under a nursing visit. I would like to pursue this so that we can maximize reimbursement for services we perform--do any of you have specific information or are presently coding for these visits? Looking forward to hearing from you.
