Experience needed to work at an Oral & Facial Surgery Clinic?

  1. 0 Hi all!

I may have the opportunity to interview for a RN position at an Oral & Facial surgery clinic.
My question is, do you think that someone without recent acute care experience and no surgical or conscious sedation experience would not be a good fit for an oral surgery clinic? I have worked in acute care, but that was back in 2006-2009. I worked in a community health setting after this, but for the last year I have been unemployed . So I know a lot of my IV and post-op skills may be rusty. If I was going to work in a surgical unit within a hospital I would not be so concerned, but I am assuming that I will be the only RN at the clinic. Advice and thoughts are appreciated!!
