dealing with home health agencies/nurses

Do any of you ever run into home health nurses/agencies that are overly persistent in trying to promote their services. For instance trying to push you or your doc to order certain equipment or monitoring that is not necessary? I'm sure it has to do with keeping profits up, but Agh! I could scream sometimes when they've convinced the patient they need that particular service when they really don't. Sometimes it seems, that the HH hinders the patient (cardiac surgical pt. in my case) from returning back to their normal activity and more bound to home so they will be there when the HH nurse comes out.
