Ambulatory Surgery Benchmarking

I am a nursing administrator of a moderate sized free standing privately owned multispecialty surgery center and I am anxious to get in touch with other administrators and discuss benchmarks. I am having difficulty finding "free" information out there and feel if we can't network, how can we improve. We learn best from each other and I feel we can share and all succeed. Areas I am currently looking at are:
Preop arrival/wait times
Phase I recovery times
Phase II recovery times
LOS for pediatric patients following T&A

This is just the beginning. As a fairly new operation, and seeing what the future holds, I am striving towards best practice. Let me know how you have succeeded and what you have for your "norms". Thanks. diana
