I didn't realize how much I loved this site until suddenly it changed and was
different and I was faced with the possibility of losing
all I had loved. But alas, all is well at allnurses.com

I'm assuming since there's a couple of poster's comments on it, it's being worked on--the invisible tabs at the top of the page, that only pop up when the mouse happens to roll over it, and then there's no heading, except in the dialogue popup box?

Here's my current "bug" that's making me crazy: I can't just type in a Reply box and have the text wrap around! No, I have to get to the end of the line (where the text remains visible), then hit 'enter', going to the next line manually, and continue. I have no idea if what I've typed that didn't wrap
around shows up somewhere or is lost. So I continue to hit 'enter' at the end of each line.

    Frustrating.

And then when the post appears, I still get to 'edit' it so it looks normal.

If you click on the advanced icon you can then type without problem, that was driving me crazy also.

There is some kinks to be worked out around getting into personal messages as well. The message that is there won't just open up, one must specifiy "download as", I then got a message that showed up on the notepad and was one long line. That can't be the way it is supposed to work, is it.

I am all for trying new stuff, but I don't understand putting something out there that has SOOOOO many kinks. I really don't have that hard of a time with change....when there has been testing and improvements before it is brought on-line.

DeeDawnTee, as a systems person, I can tell you that without paying a buttload of money for a test server and a team of gemlins to test, this IS the only way to do it without taking the site off-line for a week. And that, we don't want.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with that problem!

There's an empty object covering the right of the posting box. I'm sure they're aware of it.

For those having problems typing in reply box, check to see if you have the latest internet browser version---if not, time to upgrade! Should solve that issue.

Guess I won't be using this site from work any longer, then. I don't have any say-so in what browser is used, or anything else with this computer, so it that's the problem, it won't be me upgrading...it'll be me disappearing!

I'll look it over at home, and see if that's a problem there, too.

Me again. And I just noticed something: if I hit "Quote Reply", I get a full box, without the right side missing, so I can easily get my text to wrap around. If I just hit "Reply" (no quote), I get this lovely open-sided box that lets my words drift off the page. I don't think that it's the browser, then, but rather the site. I'm typing sight unseen for half this post because it's missing as I'm typing!!

Having the latest browser has nothing to do with the reply box fix, if you use quote the user or click on the go advanced feature then there or if you edit your own post is no issue .

Just typing in the box, yes big issue. Joe admin is aware of the problem. He tried to help me with it, however it is not fixed, there are simply work arounds for it. I do hope they fix it though.

Thanks for continuing to give us feedback on the problems. We are continuing to look into this text wrapping problem. Some issues like this are tough to figure out. For those that are having this issue, can you tell us what kind of browser you are using and what version? It sounds like it is a browser computability issue.

You can see what version you are using by going to the Help Menu in your browser, then choosing About. Thanks for your patience as we try to fix these difficult bugs.
