by Annointed_RNStudent Aug 25, '05I am a current nursing student, I am interested in moving to Alaska, is it hard to transfer license from NC to AK, or how would I test the NCLEX there straight from school?
Also, anyone know about the Wasilla Area, how is it, the housing, jobs....
salary for RN's, cost of living?
Thanks

I took it in Alaksa, got my AK license. It was not a problem. You can also apply for licensure in Alaska and take the test in another state. One of my co-workers took the NCLEX for AK licensure in NC with a MI drivers license
