To those of you that work in Alaska's hospitals. Are Respiratory therapists utilized very much? Or do the RN's do the majority of the work a RT was usually do? I am in Chicago and here RT are used to their full potential (at least where I am at) but I have heard its not like this in other parts of the country.

- Mar 23 by smilealotGuess it depends where you work. At the hospital I worked at the RTs only really came if you had an intubated pt or one on CPAP otherwise you did all your own nebs
