    Can't speak to the hospital, but an RN friend of mine years ago went to AK on vacation and fell in love with Kodiak. She moved there! I watch a Weather Channel program called 'Coast Guard Alaska' based at Kodiak, and from the show it seems like a remarkable community.

    I'm jealous - I've always wanted to go there!!

    Think small, and then think smaller. Anything critical will get shipped probably to Anchorage or possibly Seattle.
